Hi

i have just bought an Apple Watch Ultra. Can I add this to my phone contract to share minutes/texts or is a new ‘contract’ needed for it?

TIA

You should have the option within your Watch app to add a Data Plan/Cellular Plan/Mobile Service.

This will bring you to an EE Page where you will be offered a £7pm Paired Watch Plan which will allow you to share the calls and texts allowances from your phone plan, and give you the ability to make and receive calls and texts without your phone.

You can read the help articles here:

https://deviceguides.ee.co.uk/apple/watch-ultra-2-watchos-10/connectivity/setting-up-mobile-data-on-your-apple-watch/

https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/smart-watches/adding-an-ee-data-plan-to-your-smartwatch

If you are on an Essentials Plus, All Rounder or Full Works plan taken on or after 29th August 2024, a 100% discount will be applied to make this free of charge as part of the Unlimited Watch Data included on those plans.

Thank you! That’s brilliant I am in a full works plan from September 2024 🙂

Hi @Robinsonboy1

Technically it would be another line, as it would need to have a number assigned to the watch line to identify it on your account, but the charge would be discounted if you are on the Full Works plan with the inclusive watch data.

If you get an error when you try to set up the plan, it is worth giving us a call on 150 and explaining what you are wanting to do and the team can look at options to get it connected.
