Hi guys,

I’ve just renewed my sim only contract and I now get free Apple Watch plan with it. I set it up this morning by choosing the £7 p/m plan understanding it gets discounted at the billing stage. It’s was showing activating but now showing expired in my watch app and the page to manage it in the watch app just times out. When logged into my ee account on the website the plan is there with a number for the watch but nothing is working??

Hi @Price2068,

If your plan is showing expired then it will likely need a replacement eSIM for the watch which will then allow you to set up the watch plan again. So I would recommend giving our technical team a call on 150 when you have the chance and they can put that through for you.

They will need the EID of the watch from you which you can get on the watch itself in Settings>General> About>EID or the same steps within the watch app on your phone.

Alex

Same problem for me. Been one week no solution. Hours on phone no good. Replaced my ESIM 3 times same result. Now gone to above level 2 and they recommended the same fix. I told them it would not work and guess what? It didn’t work. I’ve now been told to wait until Monday when they can do the same again. By the end of Monday I’ll have to use the cooling off period to cancel unless it’s sorted. I came to EE from three due their ineptitude. Different company, same sh**. Grrrrrrr

Have the same issue its been 3 days for now, keeps showing me expired on the watch app, tried eveything over and over. Has there been any improvement on your case? Been thinking about using the cooling-off period if there is no solution to it.

Well, Im relieved that there is a solution, called CS countless times and went through the same steps, if waiting a few days solves the issue, might as well just wait. I will update this article as soon as I have solved the issue.
