Voicemail cuts in early

Any advice to extend the ringing time before voicemail cuts in on iphone 13? Currently cuts in after 20 secs.... ideally want to increase delay to 30 secs....

Thanks for coming to our community.

20 seconds is the default time before diverting to voicemail and unfortunately, this cannot be changed.

After trying my sim in an old iphone8+ I found that the voicemail didn't cut in til 30secs of ringing.... meaning that the root cause had got to be related to the iPhone 13 or a clash of software between the iPhone 13 and the sim...

I called customer services who checked the sim settings at their end and said that as far as they were concerned the sim was setup for 30secs ringtime before voicemail. After sending a remote signal to refresh the sim and me restarting the iPhone 13 there was still no change in the length of ringtime. They passed me on to a 'level 2' engineer at EE. He advised me of a change which came about from IOS 17... Apple launched a thing called 'Live voicemail'. It seems that at the moment there is a kind of personality clash between EE's voicemail system and Apple's 'live voicemail'. He advised me to go into iPhone settings/apps/phone/live voicemail where there is a switch to disable the 'live voicemail' function. Once I did this I rechecked the iPhone ringtime and found it to be 30secs 😁. I'd advise anyone with the same issue to try this as it worked for me!!
