I have an Iphone 14.

the contract ends on the 21st when i will transfer to a sim only contract i stayed with EE.

why is it in the last month of my contract my phone performance has dropped off a cliff edge. On wifi it takes 5 minutes to load a 30 second instagram reel, out and about i cant load browsers and seem to have no data performance. Im not an idiot this always happens with iphones at the end of the phone and data contracts (whether its 2 years or 3 years always the same its fine until the device comes to its end of contract) but what can i do about it? Ive paid to be connected and im not. Surely thats a breach of contract?

WiFi is a connection between a mobile device & broadband router, it has nothing to do with EE's mobile network.

I fail to see what incentive a mobile network operator would have to degrade device performance. Apple do have some previous form, though.
