I have an iphone 16 pro max, so its quite new. I wnet abroad this week and downloaded the esim app airalo. All worked fine abroad and now I have returned to UK, disabled (and now deleted the esim) but my phone will no longer connect to 5g. I can only connect to wifi.

I have followed the instructions for deleting the app, then spoke with EE support who eventually passed me to Apple support. Apple supoort did all sort of checks and say there is no porblem with the phone, they say its a problem for EE to resolve.

EE technical support is now closed. Has anyone had the same problem or know how to resolve this?
