If you do take an Essentials Plus or higher plan, you would be able to add the free smartwatch data (£7 plan which gets automatically discounted by £7), at any point if you do buy a watch later on. Doesn't have to be done at the point of purchase.

Or if you go for a No Frills or Essentials Plan, it is at the full cost of £7pm.

My contract has come to an end and I'll be buying an apple phone outright so I only need a SIM only deal. I obviously have to purchase this new deal quickly otherwise I'll be paying a lot of money. However I will eventually be buying an apple watch as well. There are SIM only deals which include watch data but I don't want to be paying double the amount for a watch that I don't yet own.

Can I get a second SIM just for the watch at a later date? How much would a watch only SIM be and will it allow me to be away from my phone to use all of its cellular functions? I hear that WhatsApp doesnt work on your watch if youre away from your phone? Thank you!
