iPhone 16 pro max Bluetooth issues

Has anyone had/got any issues with Bluetooth on their handsets? I use hearing aids connected via Bluetooth & my new IPhone 16 pro max. Every time I switch the hearing aids off I have to re pair them to my phone. Is anyone else having similar issues with other devices. Been online & it could be a software problem

The Use hearing devices with iPhone – Apple Support (UK) page has some steps to try, is this something you have already done?

If so, you can follow the online troubleshooting tool to see what is needed to get this sorted.

These are basics which I already know how to do. The problem seems more
complicated than switching Bluetooth devices on/off. Like I mentioned,
there may be a software issue with the phone as in the US. I’m waiting for
a response from audiologist before seeking more advanced help should the
problem persist. Thanks anyway
