Can I upload a recording as my voicemail greeting for visual voicemail on iPhone? Anyone with instructions?

@wendellnrt Yes just press and hold the 1 key on the dial keypad this will call your voicemail and listen to the options given.

Hi and thanks for replying.

By using the keypad options I am able to record my greeting myself, but what I want to do is upload a sound file (a professional or AI generated 'wav' formatted file) to be my greeting. I don't think that's one of the keypad options, but I could be wrong.

Welcome to the community.

You only have the option to record a voicemail greeting through the phone's microphone. You could play the clip on another device and record it on the phone. I'm not sure what the sound quality would be like though.

Hi again. That’s what I did and while the sound quality could be better, it wasn’t too bad. I was hoping that I could upload the audio file which has much better quality. Thanks for your help.
