What can EE do to help locked iphone?

Yesterday I got a security alert from apple over an attempt to access my iCloud in a foreign country, in a panic I changed my passwords including my phone passcode. I used the new passcode a few times but went on to forget it and have been locked out for almost a day now. I read your provider can help you unlock your phone but I’ve seen conflicting reports what they can do. For example, if I were to go to an EE shop could they assist in unlocking my iPhone?

You'll find the PUK, to unblock your SIM after too many incorrect PIN attempts, in your online MyEE under Home > Plans & Subs > Unlock your SIM / eSIM.

Are you sure that alert was genuine. Hope you didn't click on the link as those messages/emails could be the scam.

What service has locked you out?

iPhone passcode.
iCloud account.
EE Sims

It was a warning sent to me from iCloud so I’m confident that it was a genuine alert. I have forgotten my passcode as in my rush (or more so stupidity) I didn’t think to write it down anywhere.

A picture of the OP's phone screen - or at the very least, confirmation of the exact wording of the error message, would go a long way here.
