No internet connection

My phone has a good mobile connection but has no internet service. I have tried reboot. Got a message 'Could not activate mobile data network'

Mobile data is switched ON

I have an Iphone. I can make calls.

I managed to fix it. It was my fault. Whilst on holiday I installed a VPN which I cancelled on my return. I fdidn't uninstall the app and the Mobile network setting was set to Automatic, so the phone was trying to connect to the, VPN, which was obviously switched off today, instead of the EE network.
