Not receiving WhatsApp verification code

I have just got a iPhone 15 Pro from EE. I am trying to get my WhatsApp verified on the new phone. it says a SMS has been sent but I never receive it Also the call option doesn't work and keeps saying try again in 1 hour. Have asked WhatsApp and they are not being helpful and say to speak to your mobile provider. Has anyone else had this issue and if so have they managed to resolve?

I have been battling with the same challenge and no solution till now. Please I need solution to this issue.

Yes I receive normal calls and text messages.

Hi @Folks246,

If you're receiving other texts successfully, this would need to be investigated by WhatsApp.

If you've recently changed networks, it can sometimes take a little time for the SMS gateways used by app developers to recognise the change.

I have complained to WhatsApp support and they said i should get back to my network provider.

Hi @Folks246,

If you're still seeing the same issue after a couple of days have passed from your number transfer date, I'd recommend getting back in touch with them.
