Thanks for your reply

It doesn’t make a difference really the phone has been on & off and the watch still doesn’t ring, if it’s locked and next to me the watch still doesn’t ring. Yes all settings are set to mirror phone, and the sound is turned up fully on the watch.

Hi, I have an iPhone 15pro, I recently decided to get an Apple Watch so I didn’t get caught on my phone in work. I’ve had it for around a month now and never received any calls in the watch. I took it back and got a replacement and again no calls to the watch. No I’m on my 3rd watch and agin no calls to the watch! I receive WhatsApp & sms notifications. Apple customer care haven’t got a clue what’s happening. I can make calls on the watch just not receive them. It’s the series 9

Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated

@Dougey1 Are you connected to WiFi or cellular with the watch ? And when the phone is on are you also connected to the phone via Bluetooth?

The watch when connected via Bluetooth is then basically a none cellular Apple Watch and if this isn’t ringing when the phone is called then it’s a watch/phone setting that’s the issue. The watch in this connection is just a Bluetooth speaker to the phone and this should work if this isn’t working then the watch isn’t setup correctly with the iPhone. The fact the SMS and what’s app notifications work doesn’t make sense.

It’s definitely is not a watch hardware issue because not a chance you can have 3 watches that have the same issue.

Hi, @Dougey1, it may be worth checking with EE that you have a paired watch plan that is linked to your number (providing that you got the watch from EE). If you got the watch from Apple, it may be worth checking the following;

Place Wi-Fi calls from your iPhone
To turn on Wi-Fi calling, go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling. You might need to enter or confirm your address for emergency services.

If Wi-Fi Calling is available, you’ll see Wi-Fi after your carrier name in the status bar. Then your calls will use Wi-Fi Calling.

Add a device to use it with Wi-Fi calling
1. Check that the device that you want to add has the latest version of software.
2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling.
3. Turn on Add Wi-Fi Calling For Other Devices.
4. Go back to the previous screen, then tap Calls on Other Devices.
5. Turn on Allow Calls on Other Devices if it's not on. A list of your eligible devices appears under Allow Calls On.
6. Turn on each device that you want to use with Wi-Fi Calling.

Notification Settings

In the Watch app you will be able to manage which apps are allowed to give you push notifications via your Watch. Ensure that these mirror your iPhone and check that your phone (app) has access to Watch notifications.

Software
Additionally it may be worth checking that both your Apple Watch and iPhone are on the most up to date iOS. If the issue persists after ensuring the above steps, it may be an issue with your device and may require support at Apple (in person) to diagnose the issue.
