I'll be switching networks if EE don't support Apple Watch roaming. I've been wanting roaming on the watch since the original 'Series 0' Apple Watch and now Apple finally support it, i need a network which will support it too.

Like the freedom of going out without a phone for a walk, to the beach, lake etc while out of the UK - but remaining contactable. The watch is perfect for this, especially the new Ultra model with higher capacity battery.

I originally moved to EE for watch support and even thought their systems have been lousy every time I've moved to a new watch I've stuck with them but as others have said if EE are not supporting roaming once it's available then id be looking to move.

It would be good to have an official update from EE here.
Do they support this, and the Apple keynote had an error in it? Or not?

If not - when? It seems ridiculous that EE wouldn't support it when Vodafone/O2/Three all do.

I have 4 lines on my account - 2 of which are cellular watches, and I'm ready to move if I can't be told when EE are going to support this.

Would be nice to have it, as I renewed my contract with the smart roaming pass, so it is something very much I'd like to see.

Thanks, @James_B - if EE ever let you go, you'll have a great job in politics with that utterly non-committal answer!

Apple were pretty clear they were adding support for this, and EE were not in the keynote slide. We don't know if that was intentional, or an oversight, or just a non-exhaustive list.

If I can't get a definitive date, then it's time to move my business to a network that does support what I want. Ambiguity like 'we'll support it in the near future' isn't helpful. 2025 is the 'near future' from some viewpoints.

Be specific, or state that EE don't know - so those of us that care can move our custom elsewhere.

So what the latest as of today? Are EE going to support Apple Watch roaming? If they are - when will it be? This is clearly a burning question for a number of your clients so it would be nice to have some clear and definitive information.

@James_B this is the thing we are trying to get across... 'in the near future' isn't really cutting it. we need a date or quite a few people here will rush across to O2, Voda or one of your other friendemies.

With my current contract coming up for renewal, do we have any information on when roaming may be available? I like others travel a significant amount and would hate to leave EE however, other providers already have roaming on Apple Watch as an option therefore, I may be forced to swap to another contract with someone else.
