iPhone contract EE for 18 months, if purchase unlocked iPhone wifi calling?

Hi all,

I'm 6 months into a 2 year contract with EE for an iPhone 15, no insurance as I have, in over 20 years, never damaged a phone through dropping it - until last month... the phone works fine as only a hairline crack in the screen, which is covered by a screen protector, so in no rush to repair or replace the phone.

But, if I were to purchase a unlocked, replacement iPhone from somewhere, other than through EE - would all the features - including wifi calling - work on this replacement iPhone that I have currently on my contracted EE iPhone?

@EESandwich Yes everything will work just like the EE supplied device.
