My iPhone 15 Pro Max also gets very hot sometimes, so much so it stops charging until it cools off again.

This happens in my car on the wireless charging deck.

I received my phone yesterday and when it was charging it was really warm. Then, when I was transferring data, etc and it wasn’t on charge it was quite hot. I’ve never had an iPhone do this. Is there a fault? I’ve googled and it said the update should’ve fixed the problem but clearly hasn’t on my phone

Hi @KarenEvs37

Welcome to the community.

It's normal for the phone to be warm when it's charging. It shouldn't be hot to touch though. Have you tried backing everything up and restoring to factory settings?

This is normal, my iPhone gets very warm when charging. Additionally, when i'm using CPU intensive tasks, such as downloading lots from the internet it also gets warm.

Yehh, The wireless chargers seem to get much hotter, i think its due to induction used to transfer the power.
