new iPhone won't sync past the software update stage?

Hi can anyone help? I am trying to sync my new iPhone 14 from an iPhone 12 and it won't get past the Software Update stage. I have tried this 4 times and this is where it gets stuck. I even left it over night, but still not completing. I tired syncing through iCloud... WASTE OF TIME. No matter how many times i backed up the old phone, half of my content just didn't appear. This is so frustrating as now I have two iPhones, but nether are fully operational. Therefore, to call EE on 150 is not possible as my old phone doesn't have service and the new one won't let me get to the preface to make a call. It does receive incoming calls though.

I am hoping there is a simple explanation.
