Hi I have been trying for ages to get through to EE to get an eSIM.

I have waited for nearly 40 minutes one of the times. It’s shocking that I can’t actually get through to an EE agent. Can someone please help me out?

@bairdy192 You don’t need to call customer services to activate the eSim you just need a working sim and the my EE app. Are you a contract customer?

Customer services take lots of calls especially around iPhone launch day and like you others want to speak with customer services. You can not expect no one to call just because you want to speak with customer services.

I’m a monthly contract customer and the app says to get a qr code I have to call 150.

Hi @bairdy192.

Do you not have the option to download eSIM?

You should find this by follow these steps:

Plans & subscriptions > Scroll down to Settings > Scroll down to Device and SIM > Activate your SIM/eSIM > eSIM - digital download.

I don’t get an option for a digital download it asks for a qr code.

I have tried this all I get is an option for a qr code. Or to do by putting two phones side by side.

I am a pay monthly customer and have a physical SIM card. I have tried calling EE and have waited ages and not been answered. I think I will have to go into a shop.

I think you are being a bit disingenuous. I have not said no one should call EE just so I can get through. I said I have called numerous times and on one occasion waited over 40 minutes. I don’t claim to be someone special but thank for your input.
