Hi, is there a way to turn off sharing contacts whilst connected on family sharing? My son (age 10) has his first iPhone, and I have family sharing, screen time limit and other safety bits and bobs set up. The only annoying thing is that I have all of his contacts turning up in my contacts. Also numbers I already had stored, such as ‘Dad’.. it now says ‘Grandad’ in my call history as that is my son’s contact name for him. I have tried turning off contact sharing in iCloud, but it says I can’t turn it off whilst screen time limit is set up, which doesn’t make any sense. I don’t want to have all my sons friends numbers in my phone.

Welcome to the community.

Do you both have your own individual Apple ID? Is contact sharing switched off on both devices?
