No signal with upgrade

I have upgraded from the iphone 12 mini to I phone 13 mini. I’ve transferred data across and put my old sim in my new phone. I have re started the new phone but I have no signal. I can’t call or receive texts but can use what’s app. Wi-Fi calling is activated but won’t work. Help!

Did you receive a new SIM card with your upgrade?

Does the SIM card work in your old iPhone?

No I didn’t get a new SIM card. I assumed I wouldn’t as it was just a straight upgrade and I was keeping my number. It is so frustrating. I’ve tried reset network settings but that did not work either. Kate

Can you try the SIM in your old iPhone, does this show signal?
