i want to buy airpods but it doesn’t let me, do i need to have an EE contact? i want to pay in full price but it keeps asking me to register a device from EE which i don’t have

Welcome to the community,

Yes, you need to have a contract with EE in order to order an accessory with EE, as this is payed monthly with your contract.

You can, however, buy it from an EE high street store or of course from Apple.
