    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/587367"&gt;@Paulg0&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Did you actually read what you originally linked to. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; The device is over 12 months old so this is down to the purchaser of the device to provide proof the issue was there beforehand. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; No one will investigate this for nothing and no seller has to provide such a service as it’s now over 12 months this has to be a paid investigation. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That’s what insurance is for. &amp;nbsp; The issue obviously wasn’t there before hand as it’s very obvious it would have been seen as it’s the screen. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the device is less than 2 years old the supplier has a responsibility to replace / repair under UK consumer law.       <description>&lt;P&gt;You would hope that whoever supplied the device wouldnt be too difficult about admitting there is a fault. If there is a dispute there is details of a mediation process in the q&amp;amp;a section at&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/about-us/our-work/citizens-advice-consumer-work/the-consumer-rights-act-2015/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/about-us/our-work/citizens-advice-consumer-work/the-consumer-rights-act-2015/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure if you can take an Iphone supplied elsewhere to an Apple store for repair.
