My iPhone 12 has stopped working all green screen my contract isn’t up until July what can I do

@Mirren2004 You might find this fix HERE.
alternatively, you need to book an apple appointment in to get this looked at and have it repaired and as it’s now over 12 months this cost will be down to you if you don’t have insurance you could claim on. Or you could call EE customer services and enquire how much it will cost you to upgrade early.

If the device is less than 2 years old the supplier has a responsibility to replace / repair under UK consumer law. This is assuming that the device has developed a fault as opposed to being damaged.

@Paulg0 So you’re saying that @Mirren2004 needs to get an independent report at their own cost to prove the fault was there before they got the device.

You would hope that whoever supplied the device wouldnt be too difficult about admitting there is a fault. If there is a dispute there is details of a mediation process in the q&a section at https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/about-us/our-work/citizens-advice-consumer-work/the-consumer-rights-act-2015/

I'm not sure if you can take an Iphone supplied elsewhere to an Apple store for repair. That would probably be the best option if it can be done. ~~It looks like this is probaby possible at https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201624~~

@Paulg0 Did you actually read what you originally linked to. The device is over 12 months old so this is down to the purchaser of the device to provide proof the issue was there beforehand. No one will investigate this for nothing and no seller has to provide such a service as it’s now over 12 months this has to be a paid investigation.

That’s what insurance is for. The issue obviously wasn’t there before hand as it’s very obvious it would have been seen as it’s the screen.
