I am investing in a new iPhone and it will be my biggest investment yet. I would like the iPhone 14 pro max in purple and the airpods second gen. Is there any advice you would give me on my choices here?

Great choice!

I'm currently using the 13 Pro Max with AirPods and I love them.

The 14 Pro Max looks even better, so I'd definitely say it's a good choice, but it's your decision.

@annaegomm Like what ? You know what you want. Both products are Apple so they work perfectly together as do all Apple devices.

@annaegomm I've recently got an iPhone 14 pro max and I'm really happy with my purchase. Mine is in Space Black and haven't gone for any airpods.

Like you say it's a big investment so have also purchased screen and lens protectors as well as a protective case. Protective case does tend to hide the main body colour so can be difficult to see if it's Space Black or Purple etc
