The warranty is 12 months but there is an additional 6 esyear consumer law warranty to the device for any defects that are not physical damage. Apple covers their devices for consumer warranty for 6 years, EE doesn't say much about it but I believe that law also applies to EE as a retailer so you have 6 year consumer warranty 😉
