Hi @longmur.

Are you able to try putting the SIM in a phone to receive a text?

An iPad will usually receive iMessages but not regular texts.

I have n iPad Pro and am trying to get a verification code sent to the number associated with it however it is not coming through as a message. I have also tried sending a text to the number and again nothing received. I am sure it is something simple but is driving me crazy. Can anyone provide any suggestions.

thanks in advance

@longmur , just to add, an IPad can receive regular messages, so long as you have an IPhone, go to settings and then scroll down to messages and click on Text Message Forwarding, do this on the phone. Hope this helps.
