Why am I been charged £2.44 for Picture Message? I know that I send them through my Ipad through the wifi under iMessage. This happens in the past and was refunded. Why am I been charged again?

I have been told 4 Picture images through my phone as I was told, but I am not sure. I am deaf and found it annoying as EE says they cannot discuss it until 9 Dec when I pay my bill.
