Have to ask, but kind of nervous dun wanna appear stupid ....

Was going to pre-order, but the pic on the website for Series 8 Aluminium & SE shows a standard version not the red ring on digital crown.- every other watch version shows them with the red ring. ,

Kinda dumb to ask am sure it is the GSM version Its just that nothing tells you it is ,

I mean from an apple watch 3 you can call from it too. , it does share the phones number ..as long as near it

Welcome to the community.

Is this on the Apple website where you're seeing this?

The versions without the red ring on the side are the GPS versions, the ones with the red ring are GPS + Cellular.
