Can I use an apple watch series 7 I bought on my phone contract for free?

I am purchasing an Apple Watch series 7 cellular and want to use it on my existing account. I don’t necessarily need data.

So is there a charge for this as I am seeing you need to spend £7 a month and I am confused.

I already have a phone contract with 160GB a month on it.

Thanks for coming here.

If you purchased an Apple Watch from a third-party retailer you will need a 30-day smartwatch plan to use cellular, this is £7 per month with 10GB of data.

For help on getting set up, please see our How do I pair my Apple Watch with my iPhone? article, section 6b. I purchased my Apple Watch from Apple or another retailer, has the steps you will need.
