How do I transfer my old number to my new phon

Can anyone help me pls. I have a new iPhone 11 and need to transfer my old number. Is it as simple as putting in the old SIM card?

Yes, correct, just put your old SIM card in your new phone, as it is the SIM card that has your phone number. If you have backed stuff up to ICloud, you can then transfer everything over or hold the two phones close and everything will be transferred, if your old phone is an IPhone. You can find all the instructions by going onto Apple, but can also download the info about using the phone etc by clicking on IBooks and downloading it from there if you need more help. Hi there,

Good technician should be capable to do it.. I have done it .. the technician was able to transfer in few minutes all my data from iPhone 6 to iPhone 8, just within 10 minutes.!
