Hello. I have a Samsung S23 FE. Recently, I lose WIFI every so often and it says ‘connected without internet’. Other family members phones are ok. I have done all the Dr Google suggestions from changing DNS on my router and on my phone, to a complete phone reset. My router is with TalkTalk and they say it is working perfectly. Any ideas or suggestions?

Chez

For clarity, is your phone able to use mobile-data OK? And is this problem specific to your TalkTalk router, or does it happen with other WiFi hotspots too?

What are "all the Dr Google" suggestions, apart from the 3 you mention? And when did this problem start? Presumably you were able to use the internet on this router in the past?

Hi. My phone uses mobile data ok. Its specific to my TalkTalk router and my phone as the problem does not occur anywhere else with other people’s routers and other people’s phones work ok with my router.

I've restarted the router. Forgotten and reconnected. Checked for ip conflicts. Updated my phone's software. Reset network settings. Disable VPN.

You name it I’ve tried it. The only thing I can think of is the Wi‑Fi 6/6E compatibility problem but TalkTalk swear the router is fine.

Hi @chezz100

Since the error you see only happens when you're connected to your Home Broadband through WIFI, this points to the issue being with your broadband service losing connection to the internet, as @Chris_B mentioned.

You'll need to contact your broadband provider for technical help to investigate why your connection keeps dropping out.

Ali
