Hi - being a technophobe I wondered if someone could help me please?

I currently have an Oppo Find X5 Lite (256GB) and it’s forever telling me that it can’t save - “upload paused due to lack of storage”

When I go into clean up it’s photos and videos that I don’t really want to get rid of as they’re of the grandchildren etc.

What can I do to rectify this problem please?
do I need to get a new phone with more storage or ???

any advice would be greatly appreciated please.

Websites that store your files for a fee or maybe free, e.g. Microsoft OneDrive , Google Cloud

"The Cloud" just refers to internet-based storage.

You certainly need to copy all your important content - photos, videos, whatever, to another storage media.

Without checking what options your specific phone has, it likely has an option to connect to a laptop or desktop computer - from there, copy your important files & content for safe storage & backup.

Anything "cloud based" is just using the internet to connect to a remote storage facility instead of using a cable to connect to a computer over which you have control.
