Sim free z fold 7 warranty

Hi, i bought a sim free z fold 7 from EE dated 29th August 2025, the phone seems to be having screen flickering issues. No screen damage or any physical damage still in in pristine condition, thankfully i have Samsung care so i rang Samsung care and explained the situation, and they said as there is no physical damage this is a manufacture fault and they would not repair in this case as there is no accidental / physical damage. Where do i stand with this? looking on consumer rights act it says the first point of contact should be the retailer is this correct or would i need to go directly to Samsung themselves? any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to the community.

You have a few options when it comes to a fault on the phone

If you contact our tech guides, they can run through a diagnostic to see if there is anything that can be tried to get the phone working without needing a repair

If they aren't able to help, they can book a repair for you, where the phone would be sent away to our repair centre.

Alternatively, you can visit an EE store and they arrange a repair for you. Our Store Finder will show if it is in store repair or if it would need to be sent away.

As long as it is a fault covered by the warranty, there would be no charge for a repair.

You can also contact Samsung directly to discuss the repair options with them.
