I seem to have problems with my google pixel 7a, for the past couple of weeks i have noticed a drastic change to the battery life, it can go from 74% to 0% in the matter of seconds. I have noticed today that it seems to be the battery itself causing this issue, as it seems to be expanding.

would my phone still be under warranty for this to be fixed? i dont have insurance with this phone and i am due an upgrade at the end of November 2025.

I'd recommend speaking to our technical team, so they can check your purchase date and warranty. They will be able to discuss repair options too for both scenarios.
