Samsung ultra watch 7 not joining ee network

I've bought a watch from samsung. I have a plan with EE that states it has watch data included but when trying to join it to plan it won't let me comes up with -1 error code. Ee said that means phone not compatible but it's a smsung s25 ultra

@cathrober is this via trying to setup the watch plan via the wear app ? How long have you need a EE customer for ? Just to check is everything up to date ? ie app, software?
