&lt;P&gt;With the EE TV app you can indeed head to your schedule and request a recording for upcoming programmes, which then are made available from your box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My understanding is that this isn't actually recording the live feed direct from your box, but will make the catch-up feed immediately available from your recordings list.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No you can't. I have been told that by the EE tech team. All it does it puts the programme into pending to record.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The BT app used to let you activate record. The EE doesn't. The move to EE for TV isn't good. The box isn't as user friendly. Doesn't sync with smart tvs as well as old&amp;nbsp; BT box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
