I want to purchase the new Samsung watch Ultra for my son who is also on EE. It does state that the phone and watch need to be on the same account. However would it be possible for my son to Pay the £7 a month data plan for the watch so that it will be linked to his phone?

Many thanks

Only by paying you directly. All contracts on the same a/c are paid on the same bill with only 1 bill payer. He could set up a S.O. paid to you.

Oh I don't mind paying for the watch. It's a gift. He is an EE customer himself. I gey told conflicting things. Some people are telling me that he can link the new watch with his phone if he takes out the £7 pm data plan. Other people have told me that it has to be on the same account. Which I struggle to believe but don't want to buy the watch if he can't use it.

Hope that makes sense

Hi @Bw32,

If you purchased the Watch with an EE data plan on your account, your Son wouldn't be able to set up another data plan on his account.

If you but one without a data plan at in our EE Store, he could.

Hope this helps. 🙂
