EE Buzzard 2 Unlock Code

Hi,

I am attempting to unlock my EE Buzzard 2 device using the code provided at https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/app/device-unlock

I have already attempted to unlock the device using the code provided on a couple of occasions, but the device rejects the code as invalid.

I also emailed handset.unlocking.team@ee.co.uk as advised on the above page, but haven’t had a reply.

Hi, did you ever get this sorted? I have generated a code from their site and it has rejected it twice. Down to 8 tries left now.

Any advice would be much appreciated 🙂

Did you get the unlocking code from the EE site?

Do you have another network SIM in the device when entering the code?

Yes I got the 8 digit code from the EE site and also phone tech support earlier to confirm the correct code.

I have a Lebara sim (vodafone) in the device and I just tried the code again.....down to 7 tries left now.

any advice?

Final email today from your support after confirming the IMEI and them reaching out to the manufacturer......

Hi from EE,

Sorry you have not been able to unlock your EE Buzzard Wifi device.

The manufacturer have advised that they have no other code available and that the Code ********

Should have unlocked the device.

Unfortunately we are unable to support the unlock any further.

What a shame that after 6 more attempts this will now be bricked and go to WEEE waste.

Any ideas?

I am very sorry to hear the manufacturer have been unable to provide a different code for you to try. It may be worth trying a different network SIM and entering the code, just to see if it works for you.

Hi Leanne I’m having same issues just has reply from David who says he’s spoken to manufacturer and the code is correct and unable to help further

As the unlocking teams are unable to help further, you may need to contact the device manufacturer directly for unlocking support.
