Android lock screen problem after update

Hello! Since the latest update my Android lock screen has gone weird - the lock screen numbers are all whited out and I can barely see them to put in my passcode, especially when I'm outside. Has anyone else had this problem?

@GenniT Have you checked the automatic screen brightness? Is that on or off ?

@GenniT - Maybe try switching the lock screen to a different layout/setup and back again?

Hi, Chris! Yes, I've toggled it off and on again, it affects the brightness of the screen but not the numbers. Thank you!

Hi! It's a Samsung. Had absolutely no problems until the last system upgrade.
