moisture detected in SAMSUNG S22Plus

I have a Samsung S22 Plus. Had it a while but I cannot charge using the c type port via a USB cable as it says that Moisture is detected in the port. The phone is dry (never been wet) I have watched all Youtube videos, cleared USB cache, tried everything I can see or read online but nothing works!

Help appreciated.

Have you tried backing everything up and restoring the phone to factory settings?

I haven't tried that (yet)

Was trying to resolve without going to those lengths but that's what I might have to try as I cannot resolve this issue.

@AlanB76 The sweat from your had can cause this to happen. Your other option is to use a wireless charger.
