Motorola neo not connecting to android auto

Anyone had issues with the Motorola new 30 not working when connected to android auto? Other phones work with my car and i have tried my phone in other cars and doesn't work there either. Latest version of android auto installed. Cable allows for data, not just charging and bluetooth connects ok.

Thanks for the suggestion but still no joy with it connecting to the car. Just tried wife's phone and that works so it is definitely my phone that is the issue.
