Unsaved number dissapeared immediately after call ending

I had a job and the responsible person changed. The new guy called with visible mobile number and my phone hasn't gave any alert of troubling number. I was meant to get back to that person but I couldn't find the number in the list after we ended the call

Welcome to the community,

Have you checked your call history? That is where you will find the number the person called you, unless the number was withheld.There is nothing that EE can do about this.

Not sure what you were expecting anyone here to do. Do you not know the person, who you originally spoke to and are you not able to call that person about the job?
