Moving from O2 to EE has been like a step to the dark ages with respect to voicemail.

There were 20 glorious months of visual voicemail on Pixel at O2 . It didn't even occur to me that a modern mobile operator would not support visual voicemail on Android. 😞

There are many good things about EE, but whatever is going on with visual voicemail on Android isn't one of them. EE please show some interest in making your services rock.

At the moment we only support visual voicemail for iPhones.

If anything changes we will update our visual voicemail help page.

This is really poor and is the same line that EE has been pedaling for years. Frankly, EE deserve to loose customers for the lack of support for this. Android devices account for more than 50% of phone users in the UK and yet EE has fail to implement this feature, despite offering it to iphone users for years.

Try harder.

It would be useful to understand what the delay is? Is Android's implementation not as easy to implement? Is it even being worked on?

@Gauntlet What the delay is ? Who said there is a delay? Who said it was coming to EE ? At a guess and it’s only a guess I wouldn’t be surprised if it never came to EE as long as EE is a major partner of Apple. There will be all sorts or contacts between Apple & EE.

Totally agree. EE and Apple marriage is preventing birth of visual voicemails mail on android. Totally anti-competitive measure. Waiting for my contract to end and move to O2.

This stance from EE is preventing competitive services to appear on android. Would you see any EE collaboration with android to provide YouTube premium or android play or Google 1 services to packaged as part of bundle. Someone should start a ‘petition’ of some sort from consumers to help achieve make corporate giants listen to us.

I have just been told by the Leavers Team (150 option 4) that visual voicemail is now provided for Android users. I even confirmed the model of my phone. It has been activated and I am told to wait for a few hours for it to work....!

So, does it work? As Insta Voice - the previously best alternative (IMHO) stopped working in mid November... Need a replacement...
