Hi Jon,

Thanks for the reply, but I'm worried they're going to try and dispute the whole thing, and maybe say the picture isn't of my phone etc.

i need the phone for work due to using the dex feature of it, and the loan phone doesn't have that capability

I've sent my Samsung s22 ultra off for repair today due to it not connecting to the WiFi correctly (constantly saying connected without internet).

Gave it to a store worker at the ee shop who did the checks to see if it was damaged etc, and it was marked in great condition with no marks, scratches or dents.

I watched them as they put it in a bubble wrap sleeve and then into a yellow "spoke" envelope, and further on out the back of the store.

Few hours later received an email from ee with a quote for £230 for a cracked screen. And when i mean cracked its absolutely ruined according to the photos they sent.

Have spoken to ee and opened a case, but I have to ring the store and repair centre Monday to try and find out what is going on.

Has anyone else has any experience of this and any idea how long it would take to sort.

Luckily I have a photo I took of the phone in the ee shop as I wanted to transfer my 2fa account across, which shows no damage to the screen.

Any help would be appreciated

I'm sorry to hear this has happened, @Fouskas93.

I'm glad you have a photo in the store as proof. The best thing to do is to call the repair centre on Monday as advised.

Hopefully it won't take too long to resolve.

Don't worry @Fouskas93.

If an investigation was launched then the store would be able to tell the repair centre that your photo is genuine.

I hope so, only problem i have now is that I don't want that phone back as I don't know what other damage has been caused by whoever or whatever it was.

Have to wait until tomorrow to find out what is happening with the repair centre. But I don't think I'll be getting a phone anytime soon
