Unlocking a second hand Huawei P30 Pro phone - and warranty

I purchased a P30 Pro on ebay. The seller claimed it as unlocked. It isn't. I have checked that it was initially an EE phone. I have tried the IMEI EE web site - but does not work. I have tried calling EE customer services but as I do not have an EE mobile number I cant speak to anyone. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

@RP88 : You can just apply for unlocking by using the Unlocking your device form and giving its IMEI no., which you can obtain be dialling *#06# into its keypad.

Try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.
