On a phone call tonight and afterwards I couldn't hang up, the person at the other end struggled to disconnect too.

I had the black screen of death, and still have it hours later.

I've tried a long press of the power button, various stupid 'methods' on you tube including massaging it and repeatly pressing the power and volume buttons, which sets off and alarm and calls the police. A handy feature in a crisis, but not when i can't cancel the call!!! Calls still come through, as do notifications and i've tried charging the phone. Nothing works.

Any advice gratefully received. Thank you

Fully charge the Phone, when charged disconnect the USB lead then perform the Power Button and Vol Down or Up or all three try each one for as long as it takes, sometimes 5 Mins or more, release the buttons only if it Reboots or Vibrates.
