S21 not connecting to Skoda Car

Hi everyone

I have a 2020 Skoda Karoq and my samsung s21 will not connect to it or charge from the USB. The phone connects and disconnects multiple times a second. I have purchased an inline USB tester which shows that the amps drop in and out at the same time as the phone connects and disconnects.

The phone works in a Toyota with the same cable. I have tried 6 different cables. Other phones work in the Skoda. Any ideas or suggestions as not having Google maps is really annoying as the car map is rubbish.

The car has been to Skoda, they do not know the issue and said they have had a couple of cars with this issue, but different models and phones. I have reset the car infotainment system and my phone, neither are due updates. Any help or ideas would be great.

@middletonchris By the sounds of this its a car issue. You need to test your device in the same car at Skoda if possible.
