topic getting through in Android Devices

I have a middle range Samsung Galaxy phone- this phone is only a few months old . I dialled a company yesterday. The company said press one for this, press two for that and so on, but when I did this on the normal phone keypad which I assume is what I need to use, nothing happened. Am I missing a trick?

No response on keypad when trying to access a company's menu when pressing a digit to get through to correct department

@fradgoff Sound like that company system at fault as you can test this by calling EE on 150 and using the same technique will put you through to what ever you select. Try it.

This is a bit of an old Samsung help page, but could you try the steps on there to turn on 'Dialling Keypad Tones', @fradgoff?
