Phone configuration change

I changed my Tmobile SIM card(3G) to an EE SIM card(4G) , porting my old number etc.Turned phone (Samsung) off overnight

The following day after porting, turned phone on, only to find the configuration on my phone had changed e.g. lock screen , notification settings etc.

Is this a common after porting or is it because I moved to a 4G SIM card ?

P.S.New to the community and this is my first posting !

I think it must have done a software update as it asked me to set up my lock screen again.

What puzzled me was that I normally get a notification from Samsung, to say that an update is available and this time I did not .

I have not noticed any other changes since, but it was unnerving to restart my phone in the morning and see the alterations !

I don't think it's anything to worry about, @inhousetech. If you are worried about anything, you could always back up and restore to factory settings.
