Connection problems between Samsung Galaxy and home router

We've just changed our home router. TV and tablet connect to it with no problems, but our Samsung Galaxy phone keeps disconnecting. I've tried restarting the phone, forgetting and reconnecting, switching aeroplane mode on and off again, and resetting the network, but no improvement. Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you on EE BB? If so, which EE BB package? It's a long time since EE supplied Technicolor routers.
