I just tried to enter an unlock code for several times after it failed to accept my unlock code... and ask to enter MCK code. What is the MCK code? thanks

@BBlim A MCK code is the code you need when you tried putting in the unlocked code of your phone wrong too many times. Basically you froze the device and without the MCK code to unfreeze your device you’ll not be able to enter the unlock code.

where did you get the unlock code from ? As that wasn’t the code for your device and unlock codes are different for each individual device.

I got the unlock code from EE but now I need MCK code to unfreeze my phone 😕

Hi,

I had the same issue today. Here is how I managed to resolve it:

1. Retrieve the device lock code which EE gave you. It should be 16 numbers in length.

2. Enter the last 8 numbers (from the 16 digit number provided by EE).

3. Once you get past that screen, enter the first 8 numbers (from the 16 digit number provided by EE).

4. You should now be able to access the contents of your phone.

5. Restart your phone.

And you're good to go!

These steps don't work - I need an MCK code.

Have called EE who said they were unable to help, called manufactere (Samsung) who directed me to call network provider.

EE say they don't have a team sorting unlock issues anymore - so what next ?

The MCK is what you're asked for when an unlocking code has been entered incorrectly too many times.

Did you get your phone directly from EE? Where did you get the unlocking code from?

Hi i just got my unlocking key from ee website and mz phone decidet it was not good and not is is asking for an mck code??? How can i get one??

The MCK is what you're asked for when an unlocking code has been entered incorrectly too many times.

An MCK code can be provided from your phone manufacturer.
