Fully charge the battery, or for a least an hour, do a forced restart by pressing Power and Volume Up Buttons together for as long as it takes or in till the phone powers off or vibrats.

If that does not work go into Recovery Mode, as above but this time Volume Down button and Power together, until Recovery Menu appear, follow Menu, or if Screen returns do a Restart.

If the above two options fail, let the phone fully discharge again till it switches off, then do a Full recharge the phone without powering the Phone On and if Ness repeat the above steps.

Good Luch with it all, regards Chris.

My Oppo ran low on power. I have recharged it but it now seems to want me to rebuild it from a black screen though it seems to have kept my contacts. All the stuff seems to be there in the background but I cannot find a way to wake it up in its old friendly way.

Any thoughts folk?
